ITANAGAR, Feb 9: Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has intensified construction of ongoing Mago-Chuna and Yarlung-Lamang roads in the state, its Director General Lt Gen Harpal Singh apprised Union MoS (Home Affairs) during a meeting with him here on Friday.
While the duo discussed progress of MoHA roads entrusted to the BRO, the DG reminding of his intervention, said that completed Khinzimane-Jimmithang, Sungatsar-Kharsangla roads are being maintained by BRO.
Expressing his satisfaction over the pace of construction, Rijiju credited the BRO for utilizing almost double the budget than last year and assured that funds will never be a constraint in building MoHA roads and stressed that pace of work should not be comprised. This prompted the DG to assure Rijiju that no stone would be left unturned to ensure timely completion of roads. Project Arunank CE Brig R S Rawal was present during the meeting.
