ITANAGAR, Jan 5: Tezpur Group Commander Brig KS Rao, today inspected the ongoing combined annual training NCC camp at Rajiv Gandhi Government Polytechnic Institute (RGGPI) here at Vivek Vihar today.
Interacting with the cadets and instructors, he exhorted them to be secular, disciplined and responsible citizens of the country. He reiterated the importance of selfless social service propagated by Mahatma Gandhi and asked the cadets to participate in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan activity.
Commanding officer, Col RK Sharma, Dy. Camp Commanding officer Col Raghunath Sekhawat, Camp Adjutant Lieutenant Palvinder Singh among other senior officers of the Arunachal NCC Battalion were present on the occasion.
The Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) is underway at RGGP Itanagar from January 3 in which around 400 Cadets are participating from Arunachal Pradesh and Assam.
