YINKIONG, Sex 11: Chief Engineer (P) Brahmank RK Dhiman visited the road sector of 761 BRTF in Upper Siang district from Pangin to Gelling and double-cleaning work of Bille-Migging road from. The Chief Engineer advised to ensure quality and emphasized on the speedy improvement of riding surface of the roads. Chief Engineer appreciated the difficult task of rehabilitation of three long bailey suspension bridges between Pangin to Yingkiong taken up by 1448 BCC of 761 BRTF for safer and smooth movement of traffic on this strategically important road.
These bailey suspension bridges are very old and have deteriorated very badly. The work of rehabilitation on these bridges has been accomplished by BRTF with in-house expertise. Chief Engineer during his visit also inspected the quality of all ongoing works and emphasized on the training of working staff to further enhance the quality setup and improve the quality of road/bridge works. He interacted and motivated the entire GREF personnel deployed in this remote and inhospitable terrain.
