Equipment to detect COVID-19 are yet to reach CHC Bordumsa, Changlang district, informed a medical staff. He further added ‘we are registering the names with query of any kind of symptoms as provided for COVID-19 to the people entering Bordumsa town from Assam.  He further informed that as per official report, basic equipment will be available within a couple of days.

Sharing boundary with Assam, Bordumsa is also one of the entry points of Arunachal where hundreds of people get through for business and other official purposes. The state government has already directed the entire district to strictly screen the people entering Arunachal Pradesh through different check gates. However, absence or delay of equipment for screening is a matter of concern.
