BUMLA, Oct 1: A Border Personnel Meeting (BPM) on the occasion of Chinese National Day was organised by the Chinese side today at Bumla in Arunachal Pradesh. The Indian delegation was led by Brig Zubin  Bhatnagar, Commander of Tawang Brigade from Indian side and Sr Col Yao Shi Chen of Tsona Dzong Garrison   from Chinese side.
The Border Personnel Meeting was marked by unfurling the National flags of India and China, followed by formal address by both the delegation leaders. The Chinese side presented a colourful cultural programme during the function. The entire proceedings reflected increasing mutual desire of maintaining and improving relations at the border in consonance with the desire of both national leaders.
Both delegations interacted with each other in a congenial and cordial environment. The delegations parted amidst feeling of friendship and commitment towards enhancing the existing cordial relations and maintaining peace along the Line of Actual Control.
