BOMDILA, Jun 8: A dedicated Covid Health care centre consisting of 20 beds in the ground floor of the new upcoming District Hospital building, Bomdila was inaugurated by the local Legislator Dongru Siongju today.
As an act of preparedness, the construction of the makeshift Dedicated Covid Health Care Centre was taken up by the department of UD&H, Bomdila on war footing and completed in a record time.
In his short interaction, MLA Dongru Siongju appealed the people to fight collectively against the dreaded virus by following the Dos and Donts and adhering to the directives and advisories issued by the Health department and District administration from time to time.
Thanking the frontline workers, he expressed satisfaction that the district administration and the police have lived up to people’s expectations in this trying and tiring times.
He also thanked Chief Minister Pema Khandu and his team of officers for their dedication and steadfastness in trying to keep the people of the state safe from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Deputy Commissioner Karma Leki lauding the dedication of the frontline warriors said that though the district has no positive case as of date, ‘we are ready and well prepared to tackle any eventualities’.
Earlier, MLA Dongru along with DC, SP, DMO, DSO, Medical Superintendent and other HODs inspected the centre and expressed his satisfaction over the arrangements and amenities provided in the centre. DIPRO
