DOIMUKH, Apr 29: A dead body of a male aged around 30 years was found near the banks of the Dikrong river, Doimukh on Sunday morning. A team of police rushed to the spot after receiving information shared by passerby to the police.

The deceased has been identified as Techi Tagam, permanent resident of Nimte Village under Sagalee circle,  Papumpare District.

The reason for the death will only be ascertained after the autopsy, informed a Police official while adding that the body has already been sent for post mortem.
