ITANAGAR, Apr 7: The All Arunachal Contractor’s Welfare Association (AACWA) in a release has urged the Labour Welfare Board to extend monetary assistance to non-registered stranded labourers across the state.
It requested the board to contribute a share of Cess @1% being contributed by contractors for the welfare of non-registered workers in this hour of crisis.
AACWA further also reiterated state government for immediate lifting of ban imposed on cheque transaction due to which many contractors are facing untold hardship.
