ITANAGAR, Apr 6: According to the daily State Covid-19 Bulletin, a cabinet meeting was held on Monday to address on all issues related to the pandemic in state.
There has been no addition of positive cases as on Monday and a board to examine the feasibility of adopting the Rapid Test Kit approved by ICMR for use in management of Covid-19 in state has been constituted. This testing kit is registered with the FDA vide registration number 3016099039 and manufactured by Sensing Self Pvt. Ltd. Singapore and distributed by Global Hospitality Private Limited. The feasibility of adopting CBNAAT for diagnosing the disease will also be examined simultaneously by the board.
According to the ‘Daily Status Report’ by the State Control Room for Covid-19, the total number of samples sent for testing till date was 162, out of which 146 have tested negative. On Monday, 13 more samples were sent for testing and on a cumulative basis, 15 results are still awaited.
Meanwhile, after detection of the lone positive case in Medo who attended the Markaz religious congregation at Nizamuddin in Delhi, the instruction that if there is anyone in Arunachal Pradesh who attended the said event should immediately contact the Health Department at 0360-2350407/104, remains in force.
