ITANAGAR, Sep 18:Bharatiya Majdoor Sangh (BMS) on Monday celebrated National Labour day in a befitting manner at its state headquarters at Nyokum Lapang office campus.

Addressing the function, All Arunachal Pradesh Workers Union and BMS Co-Convenor Tadung Yangfo emphasised the indispensable role of the labour force and termed them as the backbone of the economy.

“Without workers contribution, no smooth development can take place,” he pointed while exhorting the worker's community to dedicate themselves to the cause of state development with a renewed zeal.

The day-long programme included interactive session among the seven workers organisation for strengthening the relationship and coordination among each other.

Representatives of All Arunachal Pradesh Workers Union (AAPWU), All Arunachal Pradesh Anganwadi Workers & Helper Union (AAPAWU&HU), All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation (AAPPTF), All Arunachal Pradesh Motor Transport Workers Union (AAPMTWU) etc were present on the day.
