Itanagar, May 31: Arunachal Voluntary Blood Donors Organization (AVBDO), a unit of Arunachal Vivekananda Yuva Shakti (AVYS), under the chairmanship of Ramesh Jeke, organized a voluntary blood donation camp at RK Mission Hospital, Itanagar. The camp was organized to commemorate the third death anniversary of former Founder Secretary of AVBDO, Lenin Tungi. 25 volunteers including four NDRF jawans participated in the camp and a total of 20 blood units were collected for the needy patients.

This is the 13th voluntary blood donation camp organized by AVBDO in 2019. AVBDO has organized 205 voluntary blood donation camps since 2012 and has amassed more than one lakh unit of blood so far, through such camps and on-call blood donations. Newsdesk
