Itanagar, July 2: The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Aunachal Pradesh organised a protest outside the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) Bhawan, Itanagar today against Rahul Gandhi, Leader of Opposition, for his alleged derogatory remark in Parliament against Hindus, terming it a disrespectful comment by a responsible person of the nation.
The protest was participated by all morchas heads and their office bearers and BJP karyakartas. BJP karyakartas also burned the effigy of Rahul Gandhi during the protest programme.
Speaking to the media, President Retemso Manyu strongly condemned the speech stating “Rahul Gandhi insulted the entire Hindu society by calling it violent and untruthful, an act deserving utmost condemnation. Gandhi should apologise to the people of the country for both insulting Hindus and making untrue statements in the House.”
Party Spokesperson Techi Necha also spoke.
