GUWAHATI, Apr 24:  The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will review the performance of its newly formed government in Arunachal Pradesh on April 27.

Central leaders will be present in the frontier state to carry out the evaluation which will followed by a training programme. BJP wants to expedite development of the state which will go to polls in 2019.

President of Arunachal Pradesh unit of BJP, Tapir Gao told ET, "Ministers will be making presentations on the performance and achievements of their respective departments during the meeting. They will also present the future course of action and vision of their respective department.

" The internal turmoil of Congress and imposition of President Rule ultimately culminated in installing People's Party of Arunachal (PPA) led government. Following Supreme Court's verdict reinstating Nabam Tuki as chief minister and defection from PPA to BJP led to the formation of the BJP government in the state.

Gao added, "Deputy chief minister Chowna Mein will make presentation on Goods & Services Tax (GST) in the context of Arunachal Pradesh and how it will impact Arunachal.

" Honchun Ngandam, Minister, Education, Bamang Felix, Minister, Public Health Engineering and Sanitation, and Jomde Kena, Minister, Health & Family Welfare, will make presentations.

There will be one day orientation training programme on 'History and Development and Working System of BJP' and good governance.

Gao added, "Party workers will be trained in good governance. The programme will be attended by BJP leaders including Tarun Vijay, Muralidhar Rao, Mahesh Sarma and others
