ITANAGAR, Apr 26:State BJP Mahila Morcha President Tadar Yaying Bengia attended a three national workshop - Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan on various schemes for the welfare of women launched by the  NDA government organised by National BJP Mahila Morcha on April 20 - 22  last at Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh.

The workshop was presided by National BJP Mahila Morcha President Vijayaji Rahatkar and the function was graced by National BJP, President Amit Shah and Union Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman among others.

Padmeshwari Jamoh, former State Mahila Morcha President, Kenjum Pangkam, Member, National Working Committee, and Tania Yapa Toko, Media cum Training In charge, State BJP  Mahila Morcha also participated in the workshop.

After three days of intense discussion and deliberations on various schemes of NDA government pertaining to women and children, the Mahila Morcha members have been tasked with the responsibility of spreading awareness about the various schemes besides ensuring proper implementation of the schemes for women and children  by the state government.

In this connection, the State Mahila Morcha team had a fruitful  discussion with Chief Minister Pema Khandu and chalked an action plan. After threadbare discussion, an action plan has been finalised for launching a statewide campaign for generating awareness among the people of the various welfare schemes launched by the NDA govt. for the welfare of  women and children in the State.
