ITANAGAR, Apr 26:  In the wake of the devastating storm of Wednesday evening, Senior, state BJP  Vice President, Tame Phassang  visited storm  affected  people  of  Tarajuli village under Papumpare district were more than 18 houses were damaged Wednesday night due to heavy storm. He also met the   affected people of Papunallah, Donyi Colony-Itanagar and Gohpur.

Phassang also contributed some cash amount as immediate relief from his own expenses and packed water to the families.

Speaking to the victims at Tarajuly, Phassang  assured to carry forward the message to the state government regarding  their losses. He also urged the Deputy Commissioner and concern department to visit Tarajuly to make proper assessment of losses and provide adequate compensation to the victims.

Further, Phassang also appealed the Chief Minister Pema Khandu to direct the concern department to be extra cautious during such calamities and to give preference to the remote areas.

Meanwhile, BJP-Vice President also visited the victim of fire incident at Gohpur, whose house was razed due to short-circuit that occurred during the heavy storm.
