ITANAGAR, Jun 7: The president of Bharatiya Janata Party Kisan Morcha state unit, Dunggoli Libang appealed the farming community of the state to avail benefits under various schemes that are available in the concerned department.
Addressing media persons at press club, Libang said with many schemes for farmers, BJP has target to double farmer's income by 2022, while adding that the state government has a blue print for the upliftment of the farming community and has allocated huge amount for various schemes and projects.
While expressing gratitude to the State government for providing ten thousand Soil Heath Cards in the state, he however expressed concern over non availability of cold storage and proper marketing linkages.
While appealing the farmers of the state to visit the concern department and avail the benefits, he said 10,000 crore farmers have already benefited from various schemes in the country and at least 10,000 farmers are beneficiaries in Arunachal.
