NAMSAI, May 14:

 

The State Executive Committee meeting of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Arunachal Pradesh was held at Namsai from May 12-14.

The state yuva team in its two-day meeting resolved to carry forward the responsibilities of the party as a vigilant cadre and try its best to eradicate evil practices in society and build a strong and vibrant state. In the meeting the Yuva leaders supported the national executive committee meetings resolution and promised to take it up to booth level committees, the two days executive meeting was attended by presidents of districts, mandals along with General Secretaries.

 

On the last day, state BJP President Tapir Gao attended the meeting along with General Secretary organisation Ramesh Kadaganchi and lauded the efforts and good will mission of BJYM. ‘The BJP is nothing without the Yuvas,’ Gao said while exhorting them to be more vigilant and do more hard work to strengthen the party from grassroots levels.  

Asserting that there is no place for lazy and inattentive people in the party and society, he encouraged the Yuvas and made a special mention of the state BJYM president Taring Tiri for his untiring tours and programmes to strengthen its organisation and the BJP as whole.

Later Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein joined the state President to kick off the sports and cultural activities and suggested the Yuvas to keep on conducting such programmes in every district to aware the public about the present state and Central government’s policies and programmes.

 

In the morning, the BJYM team conducted Swacch Bharat Abhiyan at Namsai town and asked the traders and dwellers to keep their surroundings clean. A procession was also organised in protest against drug peddlers.

 

In his presidential speech the state BJYM president, Taring Tiri announced the new elevated and newly inducted executive committee of its wings and asked the BJYM cadres to be disciplined and work hard with dedication to make themselves and the party strong.  He also informed that the next state executive meeting of BJYM will be held at Tawang. The two-day executive meeting ended with cultural activities.
