ITANAGAR, Jul 11: The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), capital unit has organised a programme as a part of its “Challo Booth level committee (BLC) Ki Aaur " Sampark se Samarthan tak” which was chaired by its Secretary Cum in-charge city unit, Tarh Tarak today.
The meeting aimed to create awareness among grassroot-level workers about their responsibilities, duties and to review BLCs preparation for the upcoming assembly elections.
The Abhiyan which is continuing since July 6 is likely to end by July 24 next and today the programme was organised for the Booth level committee (BLC) of polling station no.56 (G - sector), polling station no.57 (forest colony) and polling station no. 59 (G-Extention) under Naharlagun Mandal unit.
In his address, BJP capital District city unit president Tarh Soping exhorted all to work unitedly for victory of the party in the ensuing assembly election.
The BLC presidents of the respective polling stations have also highlighted the problems being faced by them and their workers and requested for solving their problems.
Various speakers on the occasion dwelled upon the unification, discipline, ideology, belongingness and role of BLC in the BJP.
