Yupia, Apr 28: As a part of the ongoing fight against Covid-19 pandemic, Papum Pare District Administration in collaboration with the Department of PHE & WS, Yupia division installed a disinfectant tunnel at the Hollongi check gate on Tuesday.
It is intended to disinfect all the vehicles entering from outside and formal functioning commenced on the first day itself. Trial run was successfully done in presence of SP Papum Pare, DMO, DSO (IDSP), EAC Balijan, EE PHE & WS along with his team of engineers, health workers and security personnel.
Furthermore, coming as a great relief to the health workers, security personnel, passengers and general public, PHE Department, Yupia also installed a hands-free wash point at the check gate. DIPRO
