Aalo, May 20: The West Siang District Bar Association(WSDBA) under the chairmanship of Advocate Taji Tajom has expressed resentment over the repeated incidences of fire at the district court building allegedly engineered by unknown miscreants.
In a representation to the West Siang DC and SP, the WSDBA highlighted that earlier in November 20 fire, the court room was devastated and this time on May 6, miscreants had set the DG set on fire. The members while stressing on proper and speedy investigation into Aalo PS case no. 79/18 U/S 457/436/IPC R/W section 3 of PDPP Act and Aalo PS case no. 35/19, U/S 447/435 IPC have also demanded the constitution of a Special Investigation Team to be headed by someone not below the rank of Inspector.
WSDBA members have also demanded installation of high resolution night vision CC cameras within the court premises to locate such future acts of miscreants. They also stressed on regular deployment of security personnel to contain such unlawful elements. DIPRO
