Aalo, May 7: The district level consultative meeting on functioning of all banks falling under Lead Bank Office Pasighat was held today under the chairmanship of the Deputy-in-Charge West Siang, K.Tikhak here at the conference hall of DC office.
Tikhak while reminding that banking institutions have a pivotal role to provide loans to beneficiaries and recover them as well as per government directives, also exhorted all banks to play their proactive roles. The Lead District Manager, State Bank of India Lead Bank Office, Rebot Chandra Patir spelt out the activities and functioning of all banks under it and stressed on mitigating the yearly targets set out by the government.
The Heads of Offices attending the meeting spelt out their problems and urged all banks to sanction various loans on a timely basis to the selected beneficiaries. DIPRO
