Pasighat, Feb 10: Bakin Pertin Hospital here at the century-old township has secured the LaQshya certificate from Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for maintaining the quality of labour room and maternity operation theatre through scores of 90% and 92% respectively after meeting all required criteria.
The facilities underwent assessment by two teams of empanelled External Assessors on October 24 and 25, 2019 respectively, informed the Joint Family Director, Dr Saibal Bhattacharjee. LaQshya is a labour room quality improvement initiative launched by the Union Health Ministry in 2017 under which community health centres, medical colleges and other government health facilities offering maternity services are certified.
