Khonsa, Sep 27: A district level awareness workshop on ‘Angikaar – A Campaign for Change Management, PMUY, PMAY(U), Aayushman Bharat, CMAAY’ was conducted today by the Department of UD & Housing of Tirap district here at the Multipurpose Conference Hall.
Conducted under the chairmanship of Tirap Deputy Commissioner P.N. Thungon, the workshop was attended by 57 Angikaar beneficiaries and people from various parts of the district. While addressing the gathering, DC urged the SHGs, lines department heads such as DUDA, DFO, ICDS, DMO, DDSE, PHE&WS, DF&CSO to spread awareness and motivate people of the district enable them to avail benefits under the PM/CM Flagship schemes of Angikaar, PMUY, PMAY(U), CMAAY, Dulari Kanya etc. He stated that Women SHGs group can play pivotal role to motivate people in urban/rural areas about Angikaar. EE(DUDA) Er. Tai Sangkio appealed the beneficiaries to acquire proper knowledge from the Resource Persons. DMO Dr. K. Mossang informed about the benefits under Aayushman Bharat, CMAAY, Dulari Kanya and other schemes under health department and urged the pregnant women to get registered in the nearby health centres/General Hospital, Khonsa for getting immunization card to avail financial benefits. Urban Planner, UD & Housing, Khonsa Nyiliang Rinyo highlighted the aims of the workshop through Power Point Presentation wherein she also briefed about town planning/ beautification and housing etc. Resource Person and MIS Expert, UD & Housing, Kanak Lata Ray imparted training to the beneficiaries by hands-on training through MIS System and Mobile Application and also encouraged them to adopt rain water harvesting.
The workshop was also attended by DPO L.R. Roy, AE(PHE&WS) Er. Tage Doni, representatives from DF&CSO’s office and women leaders from NMF (Nocte Mothers Federation). DIPRO
