YINGKIONG, Jul 21:  

 

An awareness programme on Swacch Bharat Abhiyan- Gramin was organized by PHED held at Community Centre, Komkar village, Upper Siang District today.

 

 

Addressing the gathering, AE, PHED, Katan, Gebuk Burang emphasized on the need to maintain cleanliness and sanitation as an integral part of living for a disease-free life. He sought the co-operation from the beneficiaries for successful implementation of the individual household toilets under Swatch Bharat Abhiyan-Gramin.

 

EAC, Geku D. Lama advised the people to have compulsory toilet in every household in order to live a hygienic life and maintained cleanliness. He also advised to boil drinking water to do away with water borne diseases.
