ITANAGAR, Sep 21: A day-long program to raise awareness among the students on Drugs & Substance Abuse and its effect on health was organized here at C Sector Middle School Itanagar.
Superintendent of Police, Capital Complex, Tumme Amo attended the program as Chief Guest and as a resource person. Students, teachers in huge numbers enthusiastically participated in the programme.
In his address, Amo highlighted various ill effects of drugs and informed about various measures initiated by the Police to fight against drug menace.
He also informed about various WhatsApp groups created by CapPol such as its 24x7 mobile/WhatsApp numbers, FB Group on Traffic Regulations, Tenant  Verification Mela, Newly inducted 5 MRDS PCRs and soon to be launched ERSS, and functions of Hamara Arunachal Abhiyaan (HAA), and its website launched recently.
Further Amo also administrated 10 points pledge to all teachers, parents, and members of the C Sector, Anti Drug Control Committee, Itanagar.
