KANUBARI, Dec 18: A day long awareness programme on Health and early Childhood Education was held at Luaksim Village under Kanubari circle of Longding District today.
The programme is being organized by ‘Needy and Underprivileged Caring Society (NUCS). Addressing the gathering, ADC T Mize appreciated the NUCS for organizing such an event for the villagers. “Important messages related to health and early Childhood Education do not reach properly in remote areas, so local NGOs would be the best option to create awareness on such issues,’ he said assuring to extend all help.
Chairman, NUCS informed that the objective of the NGO is to work for the remote villagers and underprivileged people. We contribute amongst ourselves and do whatever we can for the awareness and upliftment of villagers, he added.
Earlier, NUCS also distributed blankets and shawls to the PRI leaders, village chiefs and villagers.
