In a bid to create awareness among the masses about the benefits of “BHIM” Apps named after Bhim Rao Ambedkar to the masses and also commemorating the Digital India Day, the Bharatiya Yuva Morcha today formally conducted an awareness camp on "Bhim" Apps.

 

Speaking at the launching ceremony of the e-wallet App ‘BHIM’, Minister of state for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju informed that the App was fully functioning under the government and will prove immense help to those living in far flung and remote border areas, where there is no Banks.

He also said that the government has made mandatory “Aadhaar Card” as direct transfer mode for beneficiaries to avail benefits of MNREGA, PDS, and government subsidies in various schemes and also to curb corruption by middle person in delivering the benefits.

 

Mentioning PM Modi commitment to cover all the border areas in the state under “digital revolution”, Rijiju said the BJP at the Centre is giving immense importance to development of Arunachal Pradesh in terms of connectivity that never took place during the reign of previous ruling government.

 

Also endorsing for development of the state from grassroots level (block to village level), Rijiju categorically stated that gone are the days where people run from pillar to post seeking development of their concern areas. Now the concern government functionaries, Ministers, Officials have to move forward towards the people taking the development and progress alongside.

 

National Secretary, National Yuva Morcha, I/C Arunachal,  Sourav Sikdar along with National President, BJYM, Poona Mahajan who have personally visiting the state to oversee the launching ceremony of BHIM apps said that with the launching a new digital revolution was underway in the state.

 

Minister, IPR,Bamang Felix along with Capital complex BJP unit President, Tarh Soping, BJPYM, President Taring Tiri and other karyakartas were present on the occasion.
