YUPIA, Sep 26: A two-day awareness programme on Anaemia themed 'Test, Treat,Talk Anemia' was organised at Gumto which concluded today.
The event was jointly organised by District ICDS cell Yupia, CDPO Doimukh ICDS Project in collaboration with The Central Bureau of Communication under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
The two-day event witnessed photo exhibition on  Poshan maah observance in the district, talks on Anaemia, Poshan Abhiyan and other social welfare schemes of the state and central government and a recipe competition on locally available food that are rich in iron.
The program witnessed participation from SHG members, Anganwadi workers, pregnant and lactating mothers from nearby areas and PRI members.
