PASIGHAT, Oct 21: In a move to create more awareness on drug abuse and POCSO Act, the Women Against Social Evils (WASE) conducted an awareness campaign at Kiyit village among the 14 women Self Help Groups recently also attended by youths, Gaon Burahs, students etc.
Kiyit, one of the largest villages in Mebo Sub-Division was chosen for the awareness campaign to counter the growing menace of drugs to which youths are falling prey
Dr. Runi Tasung attended as resource person and spoke about the ill effects of drug addiction. Model, Miss Tiara India international 2017, Ms Chum Darang also attended the campaign.
