ITANAGAR, Dec 5: Arunachal Pradesh Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board conducted a mega awareness camp for all the organized and unorganized sector workers of Kamba and Bagra in West Siang district.
The chairman of the board, Jalley Sonam, addressing the large gathering of workers at both places said, Chief Minister Pema Khandu, who has high regard for all workers and values their hard work has introduced many schemes like housing loan, tools benefits and radio set, etc for the registered workers of the state through APB & OCWWB.
Informing about all the statutory and non-statutory benefits, he appealed to the workers to register themselves with the board to avail the benefits.
The chairman also informed about PMJJB and PMSBY life insurance, and said the board will bear the premium of @ Rs 330 & Rs 12 per annum from one per cent cess.
Later, he distributed blankets, solar lamps and mosquito nets to workers in presence of former panchayat leaders, Goan Burah and Buris and board officials.
