Namsai, Mar 5: Two students of the Arunachal University of Studies (AUS) − Beron Karap and Janwang Khimhun − have brought laurels to the university by getting selected in the squad that will represent Arunachal Pradesh in North-East Olympics Games 2024 scheduled to be held in Nagaland from March 18 − 23.
Karap, a student of Master of Physical Education and Sports (MPES) at AUS, will be part of the football team of Arunachal Pradesh. He has also represented Arunachal Pradesh in Santosh Trophy 2024. Khimhun, a student of Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports (BPET) at AUS, will represent Arunachal Pradesh in wrestling.
