ITANAGAR, May 20: A complaint has been lodged in the police station Itanagar against unknown miscreant who intruded into the office of the ‘Eastern Sentinel’ here at Niti Vihar at around 2 am on Monday night.
As per the CCTV footage, the miscreant intruded into the office breaking the main lock with a crowbar or iron rod. However, no theft of any property has been found.
The incident is an addition to the long list of theft/break-in incidents that are reportedly taking place in the Lower Niti Vihar area, stated the complaint letter.
" I request the capital police and the higher authorities to look into the matter seriously as media houses have often been soft targets," appealed Managing editor, Eastern Sentinel, KJ Riba.
