ITANAGAR, Mar 29: In the wake of reports of ill-treatment by rental owners towards healthcare officials, staffers and police personnel, the All Nyishi Youth Association (ANYA) has come in support of frontline workers and appealed to all owners to refrain from doing so.
"They deserve respect, motivation, and encouragement not mental harassment or ill-treatment, " it stated adding it is them who are in the frontline to protect us from the deadly COVID-19.
ANYA also appealed the rent owners/shop owners to waive off one-month rental fees for tenants to help them cope in the face of the 21-day lockdown with economic activities virtually coming to a standstill.
