ITANAGAR, Apr 16:The Directorate Service Officers Association of Arunachal has urged the Deputy Chief Minister to cancel the proposal to create ten posts of Director (Administration, finance & Policy) citing if it goes ahead with it then it will curtail promotional scope of many deserving officers of the directorate.
In a representation, the union while terming the decision as against the interest of employees has stated that if the order is implemented then it will lead to bitter internal wrangling between departmental officers and APCS (admin Grade) officers thereby hampering development works.
“There is also apprehension that the decision might create unhealthy working atmosphere and it also amounts to infringement of basic rights of the departmental officers,” it alleged adding that it will be the public who will be at the receiving end of the tussle.
