ZIRO, Feb 26: The third phase of 'Clean Kley' and its broadening activities with earthmovers initiated by Apatani Youth Association (AYA) concluded on Wednesday at the northern sector.
Starting on February 25, the 3rd phase was carried out in collaboration with the Department of Hydro Power Development (DHPD) Ziro and as a trial basis, check dam shall be constructed by the department and if found successful in serving the purpose, it will be pursued further as a pilot project jointly by AYA along with DHPD covering the whole stretch of Kley river.
The main purpose of this project is to rejuvenate the lone river flowing through Ziro valley. AYA PR
