ITANAGAR, Jan 31: The officials and staff of Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly on Friday bade farewell to Mudang Lasa, Secretary, APLA on his retirement from active government service at Nokmey Nimati Hall at Assembly Secretariat.  
The farewell programme was an emotional one with staff members sharing their long association with Lasa who had joined the State Assembly in December 1983.
Joining with Speaker Pasang D. Sona in the farewell programme, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein praised Lasa for completing the service. Recollecting his association with Lasa when he was the Speaker, the DCM described him as perfect gentleman with big a heart.
“I will always cherish my association with Lasa ji,” said Mein while extending best wishes to him for his retirement life.
Speaker Sona congratulated M Lasa for successfully completing his service tenure in full, perfect and respectable manner.  “Your sincerity, simplicity and good deed will always be remembered by the Assembly,” he said while wishing him a healthy and happy retirement life ahead.
Secretary Lasa, in his emotional farewell speech, thanked everyone for their love and affection during his service period. He also sought forgiveness from everyone if any point of time he had knowingly or unknowingly offended them.
Earlier, Additional Secretary K Habung highlighted about M Lasa’s service history.
