NAHARLAGUN, Sep 19:Kristi Kendra, Naharlagun celebrated the 570th Birth Anniversary of Maha Purush Srimanta Sankardev with religious gaiety and fervour here at Namghar premises. About 300 devotees from Assamese community residing in the Capital Complex gathered at the Kristi Kendra, Naharlagun, offered puja and sought blessing of God. Earlier, the programme started with Bhagawat Bhraman (religious procession) followed by flag hoisting.
