ITANAGAR, May 18:

 

In recognition of her mountaineering feat, the Directorate of Youth Affairs, Government of Arunachal Pradesh has announced to recommend Anshu Jamsenpa for the Tenjing Norgay Adventure Award, which is the highest award for adventure sports in the country. While congratulating her record feat, the Department has recommended Anshu for the post of Adventure promotion officer (APO) along with three others for excellence in Mountaineering and adventure sports. The Department also plans a grand reception ceremony and flag-in function for the ace mountaineer.
