ITANAGAR, Feb 13. Two Arunachalee students, Ajeet Pordung and Jimmy Sonam are representing India in Asia Youth International Model United Nations (AYIMUN) to be held from February 15-18 in Malaysia.
Ajeet Pordung is a law student at Delhi University and founder and chairman of Tassar Education and Charitable Trust an NGO which provides scholarships to northeast students for UPSC coaching in Delhi. Jimmy Sonam is a research scholar (Mphil) in the Department of Anthropology in Rajiv Gandhi University Rono Hills (Itanagar).
The event is being organised by International Global Network aimed to provide a platform for young future diplomats to encourage themselves in understanding the global issues and its policies, debate and share perspectives among participants from different backgrounds and different ethnicities.
