ITANAGAR,  Apr 13:  Amidst poll violence in few constituencies and   technical problems in EVMs, Arunachal Pradesh witnessed around 75.33% voting in both the assembly and Lok Sabha elections simultaneously in the state on April 11 last . Though the polling on Thursday began at 7 am on a normal note for the 60 Assembly seats and two Lok Sabha seats, the percentage picked up later in the evening.
As per the CEO office, at least 6,01337 persons  participated in the  voting process out of 7,98,248 voters. However  officials claimed that the voting percentage may increase as  some of the polling  officials are  yet to report to the office and re-polling are to be held in many polling stations.  
Reports further added that, out of 7,98,248 voters, 3,94,456 are male and  4,03,792 are  female. Moreover, during the polling day only 2,85,518 male casted their vote while 3,12,819 female exercised their franchise.
