PASIGHAT, Sep 12: Arunachal Pradesh started its campaign for the on-going 25th Senior Women's NFC 2019-20 with a bang by defeating Telangana 2-0 in the opening match.
Nabam Kamyi opened account for the hosts in the 5th minute of the first half with a beautiful long ranger. Lead was doubled by Techi Akung in the 36th minute. In the other matches played today,
Jharkhand defeated Gujarat 5-0, Punjab overwhelmed Uttarakhand 6-0, Tripura trounced Rajasthan 12-0 and Manipur defeated West Bengal 4-0.
