ITANAGAR, Jan 17: In the ongoing  Khelo India tournament,  two more silver medals were added today in Arunachal’s medal tally.
Charu Pesi, 61 kg in Under-21 boys category won silver medal in weightlifting by lifting 259 kg in total (snatch 114 kg and clean & jerk 145 kg). Meanwhile, also in weightlifting, Bengia Tani, 61 kg in Under-17 boys category won silver medal by lifting 221 kg in total (snatch 98 kg and clean & jerk 123 kg).
With these additions, state’s medal tally now stands at 6 (Gold-1, Silver-4, Bronze-1). KIYG 2020 PR
