Naharlagun, Sep 9: A 3-day workshop for the District Level Committees of Arunachal Vikas Parishad was organised here at the Polo Colony Campus of Bharat Scouts and Guides from September 6-8.
Topics that were discussed in the workshop included AVP’s aims, objectives, achievements, ideological concepts, field study, specific problems, documentations, planning & implementation, resource mobilization and future strategies for expansion in districts. It was attended by 112 delegates from 19 districts across the state who engaged in open discussions and shared suggestions. ABVKA Jt. Secretary Prakash Kale, Assistant Organizing Secretary, Kalyan Ashram North East Sandeed Kavishwar, General Secretary, AVP Gyati Rana were among others who discussed on different topics.
Minister H&FW, W&CD, Social Justice, Tribal Affairs, Alo Libang, Chief Guest at the valedictory function stated that Donyi-Polo is the supreme God in the universe and requested the delegates to preserve this rich indigenous religion for a better tomorrow of tribal society.
