ITANAGAR, Jan 18: The State Department of Tourism recently participated in South Asian Tourism and Travel Exhibition (SATTE) organized by Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India which was held at India Expo Centre in Greater Noida.
The three-day long exhibition was a business-to-business travel trade show supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, with an aim to increase the tourists’ inflow in the country. Registered tour operators of the state such as Tour Operator of Tribal Discovery Tour and Travel, Tawang, Tour Operator of Eastern Voyagers Travel & Expedition etc participated to promote state tourism.
Resident Tourism Officer, Arunachal Bhawan, New Delhi, Adong Moyong was also present on the occasion. A large number of visitors turned up at the stall set up by the department to inquire about the state. Pamphlets, brochures / CDS etc were also distributed among the participants showcasing state’s tourism potential, according to an official release by the department.
