ITANAGAR, Nov 23: Arunachal Wushu Team will be participating in the ensuing 19th Sub-Junior National Wushu Championship 2019 to be held at Salt Lake Stadium Kolkata from November 25-30.
The state team will be a 26-member squad including 2 officials led by Coach Techi Juna and accompanied by Rana Migi as Team Manager which left for the venue on Saturday, seen off by President AAPWA Toko Teki and its Technical Chief M Premchandra Singh. Team Arunachal will comprise of Sanda (Boys & Girls) -Namlo Rangmo, Ripaksho Chikro, Tokiram Badu, Bomjen Ligu, Tarang Sangbia, Monday Sonam, Aphun Tolowham, Buku Goi, Wanghom Wangsu, Gyamar Kana, Pipi Yangfo, Chajon Wangsa & Rinchin Lamu Megeji. In Taolu (Boys & Girls) category, the players are- Pongchoi Reham, Anjuru Melo, Ojing Kitnya, Wangson Tangha, Chera Loku, Naomi Wangsa, Nemjin Khimhun, Mingni Tangha, Sangkio Pordung, Aniya Tok & Lily Teksing.
It is worth mentioning that Wushu has shot into popularity within a short span of time in the state and the lots of medals in national & international levels havealso been clinched by the state’s boys and girls in recent times. AAPWA PR
