NAHARLAGUN, Dec 13: Host Arunachal registered a spectacular comeback against Mizoram to win 2-1 in the second the semi final match played here at R.G Stadium, Naharlagun. It was Mizoram which scored the first goal in the first half of the match.
Arunachal came back strong in the second half and their attacking move got its reward through captain Yura Tarung’s goal in the 84th minute of the match. Regulation time ended in a 1-1 draw.
Extra time goal by Ujjal Rai helped Arunachal to reach its maiden Final of any National Football Championship.
Earlier in the first semi final Odisha defeated Jharkhand 6-2 to book a place in the final of Hero Sub Jr. National Football Championship.
