ITANAGAR, May 15:  On the last date of the third phase of the nationwide lockdown, the press release issued by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has confirmed that Arunachal Pradesh continues to retain its ‘Green Zone’ tag.
As on Sunday, out of the 3163 total tested cases in the state, 2861 have been found negative and 300 results are awaited. Out of the 2946 returnees currently under quarantine, 1328 samples have been collected for RT PCR tests, out of which 1068 have tested negative, 260 results are awaited and 762 have been discharged for follow-up home quarantine. There is no Covid-19 hotspot in the state currently and 2 dedicate Covid hospitals, 70 isolation facilities and 383 notified quarantine facilities are currently under operation.
As a result of the lockdown measures, till May 17, 174 violators of lockdown/curfew orders have been identified and a total of Rs 23,500 has been collected from them as penalties.
