ITANAGAR, Jun 2: The number of confirmed positive cases continued its upward trend in the state with six more people testing positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday. With this, the number of active cases in the state has gone up to 27.
As per the official press communiqué, the infected persons are asymptomatic. As per sources amongst the six new cases, five are from the Itanagar capital region and one is a female from paramilitary camp, Lohit district.
Officials have begun contact tracing and collecting information regarding their travel history, date of journey and copassengers.
