Wakro, Jan 4: Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar accompanied by DC Lohit, AC and HoDs visited the Ninashi Homestay nestled here at the scenic Mawai village under Wakro Circle in Lohit district on January 3 last.
Speaking about the project which aims at making tourism more attractive in the district, CS said that with cleanliness and professionalism, it will help in realising the true potential of tourism and create local employment opportunities. “We need more homestays like this to promote ethnic diversity through tourism where tourists will be having the taste of authentic Arunachalee hospitality along with the panoramic views that consist of a brilliant vista of mountains, valleys and enchanting rivers,” CS added.
Echoing his words, entrepreneur Ninashi Minin said that the homestay is buzzing with visitors since beginning and till date, over 200 guests have stayed so far from all over India including Darjeeling and Nepal with more expected.
“Make it a vacation to remember for a lifetime when you spend some time at one of the homestays here amidst Wakro Circle which offers a plethora of mesmerizing sights, local cuisine and feelings of home,” Minin added further.
