ITANAGAR, Mar 16:The robust connectivity for Arunachal Pradesh, a vision-plan of  Chief Minister Pema Khandu particularly on rural connectivity front got a major boost as the Union Ministry of Rural Development yet again sanctioned Rs. 351,54,61,000/-  (Rupees Three Hundred Fifty One Crore Fifty Four Lakh and Sixty one Thousand only) under PMGSY for the state of Arunachal Pradesh.

The fund released is of the second instalment of the annual allocation for the year 2017-18 for Phase-X Batch –II (2013-14)- Rs. 243.88075 Cr. and Phase – X Batch –III (2013-14) – Rs. 107.66535 Cr.

An elated Chief Minister Pema Khandu extended his sincere gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that his concern for Arunachal Pradesh in terms of connectivity is evident from the positive gesture. He said the State is surely rising under his able and dynamic leadership and with such continuous support Arunachal Pradesh shall transform itself at par with other developed states.

 Khandu also thanked the Union Minister for Rural Development Narendra Singh Tomar for taking special care on rural connectivity of Arunachal Pradesh. Khandu assured the Union Government that the funds sanctioned will be judiciously utilised.
